Pictured here is General Manager Becky Lowe of Acee's Metropolis presenting Team Member Nathaniel (Nate) Konemann a check for $3,000 to the University of Illinois at Chicago. One of the benefits that Acee’s offers employees is up to $1,500 per semester in scholarship money for college or career advancement. Nate has been working at Acee’s since May of 2021, averaging 20 hours per week while attending his junior and senior years at Massac County High School. He recently graduated and plans to attend the University of Illinois at Chicago this fall. Nate plans to get a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree and then a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Acee’s is proud to invest in the future of its employees and Nate is taking full advantage of this opportunity. As a part-time team member, Nate was able to coordinate his school and work schedules. He also plans to return to work with Acee’s during his college breaks. This way, he can assist the team during busy seasons while earning additional income. Acee’s is #CommunityDriven. Not only is this evident in the Give Back Program at each location that supports local schools and charitable organizations, but also in giving back to our hard-working, loyal team members who make it all possible! Good luck, Nate. Keep making your Acee’s team proud.
